I went to that track about a year ago since it was on my way back. They let you just walk on in and check it out. Was hoping they would have a store to buy some memorabilia but they didnt have squat.

used to be some good racin on that track its a shame. been to the all Harley Drags across tha street couple times

Seems that Nascar does not care about the racing.....just how many seats a facility holds and how much money they can make from it!
If you think the California race was a little boring to watch.......wait till they hit Las Vegas!

My Magic Eightball says Darlington is next. Martinsville wouldn't be much of a surprise, either.
I say if they want to drop a track, they have to find a similar one to replace it with.
Enough with the cookie cutter crap.
Chicagoland, Kansas, Vegas, Michigan... same basic track
Texas, Atlanta, Charlotte... same basic track
...hell, this gives me an idea for a new thread...

hows about a 3/4 mile high banked track. Something different . Heck throw in a dirt track for a change.
