Anyone watching Indy?
Notice how ABC is doing a split screen for commercial breaks?
Why can't they do that for all of the races?
If anything, ABC is making twice the money, because they have a sponsor for the split screen, and they're making money for the commercial air time.
Why can't all of the broadcasters do this for all of the racing events? The action doesn't stop until the checkered flag flies, so why leave for a commercial?

The split screen is nice. I wish CBS was doing it for the Formula One race in Monaco. Recording the Indy 500 and watching the Monaco race. I always liked this track.

Fox actually tried to do the split screen one time but all there sponsors and commercials said that they paid good money during a nascar race that they should get the full screen. Thats the last i heard of it.

I have to give a little more credit... I thought that the split screen advertisements were something they were doing for the 500. Just turned on ABC to find that they are doing it this week as well, which would lead me to believe that they do it for every race. To which I say, WELCOME BACK TO NASCAR, ESPN AND ABC. (please continue this practice!)

DB do you have NASCAR in-car in your cable package? I love it. Commerical free in car racing.
But yeah the split screen is nice. As long as there is a sponsor willing to pay for it they will show it, or should.
