Think Back To A time JUNE 28, 2004

What in the world were Kevin Harvick and Matt Kenseth thinking about at Pocono? Both of these drivers should be taken out of their cars for a race to show that this won't be allowed by NASCAR!
quote
I know that would affect a whole team, but this kind of stupidity can't be allowed. Did they ever think of the other 40-some drivers on the track? No! Racing is rubbing, but stupidity is stupidity! As for settling it as men behind the grandstands, ask Jimmy Spencer how that works!

The actions of both Matt Kenseth and Kevin Harvick were just childish. I'm not really a Harvick fan, but Kenseth lost my respect as a driver. They made the sport look bad, and both should be fined and suspended for at least five races. Both drivers need to grow up and learn "that bumping is racing."

Dear Kevin Harvick:
Matt Kenseth didn't slam into you at Pocono, he didn't bump you, he didn't nudge you; he rubbed you. And rubbin', son, is racin'.

For the past few years, Kevin Harvick has been the most entertaining thing in NASCAR. After the race at Pocono, I knew penalties would be coming, but they're still uncalled for. NASCAR is discouraging emotion shown by the drivers, and it's ruining the sport. NASCAR's attempts at turning every driver into a cold, emotionless robot may have worked on most, but Harvick is still human, and he's still the man on Sunday.

I have never seen such a bad display of sportsmanship in my life as Kevin Harvick and Matt Kenseth at Pocono. They should be fined and not awarded any points from NASCAR for what they did during the last caution of the race. The race might have finished under green if those two knuckleheads weren't playing bumper tag. Harvick and Kenseth have taken NASCAR to an all-time low.
I hope NASCAR does more than fine Harvick and Kenseth $10,000 and take 25 points from them. NASCAR needs to wake these drivers up, award them zero points and park their cars for another race.
Kevin, I expected this from you because NASCAR lets you get away with it with a slap on the wrist every time, but Matt, you hit an all-time low.

Has NASCAR gotten out of control? It penalized Kevin Harvick 10 spots because of his tussle with Matt Kenseth. Harvick never touched Kenseth's car and he still gets penalized. The replay of the wreck clearly shows Kenseth got loose and spun out. Even though Harvick sped up to catch up to Kenseth he never made actual contact to his car like that idiot Kenseth did to Harvick.
Kenseth should of been penalized a lap, deducted points, fined and put on probation. A track with 3,400-pound cars is no place to settle your "beef" with a driver. Either settle it in the garage area or make up. Kenseth's reaction is way out of line, and he should of had a more severe punishment.
