More like a calastity. Not to be confused with colostomy. Depending on your view, however...

Anyone else think that maybe he's giving himself the worst equipment among his three teams in hopes of getting either DJ or Reutimann in the top 35?

Anyone else think that maybe he's giving himself the worst equipment among his three teams in hopes of getting either DJ or Reutimann in the top 35? I'd be surprised for a couple of reasons if he is in fact doing so. For one, He was the first to step to the plate for Toyota and take them as a manufacturer. In my eyes, he and his organization is "the face of Toyota" as far as cup racing is concerned. Toyota wants to win at this level, and the fewer cars they have on the track, the smaller those chances are. I wouldn't think that Toyota is too happy with what's going on with the 55 team thus far. Secondly, Napa pays good money to slap their logo on his hood. I'd imagine the Madison Avenue gang at Napa is seeing red right now, in more ways than one. The only advertising they're getting for their sponsorship effort is in the print media, rather than on television, when writers discuss how close (or not-so-close) he was to making the field. So, again, I'd be really surprised to find out that he was filtering better equipment across the organization. He has the same sponsor obligations that his teammates have. Mainly, screen time. You can't get that when the car is stuffed in the hauler and on it's way home before the weekend gets started. Two other observations from this weekend that I'd like to briefly (or not so) touch on. Nevermind. I'm getting long winded. I'll take it elsewhere.
