You've got to wonder, has Nascar become an International force? First Juan, now Villeneuve. Who's next... Schumacher? Who would have guessed a year ago how prophetic Talladega Nights would turn out to be?

Villeneuve, 36, raced CART in 1994-95, winning the series title and the Indy 500 in 1995, the last year before the American open-wheel split. In 1996 he joined the acclaimed Williams F1 team, finishing second in his first race (a feat not duplicated until Lewis Hamilton this year) and going on to win four races as the series' runner-up. In his sophomore F1 year, 1997, he won seven times and claimed the title. (YEP, HE'S CANADIAN) I think the world racing community is starting to notice the level of competion in NASCAR . Not only Americans dream of winning the DAYTONA 500....cheers..

Can't you see what's the best form of auto racing by now! LOL It seems the brother-in-law in the late 60' early 70' would fly over seas to watch F1, took sister to Monaco for the F1 race before they got married. Took him to Dover in 1980, he can't miss a race now. Daytona in Feb. and July! I've seen all his F1 pins from each of the races he went to, His Nascar cars and autograph's are a much bigger collect now. You were Red Necks!!!! LOL
