Great videos.
This may be a dumb question, but the mud course in the first three videos seems to begin with a deep dip which causes the front suspension (and maybe even the bumper) to plow into the mud. It looks like the truck loses a lot of momentum when that happens. Would it be better to take that first dip at, say, half-throttle to avoid the impact, then gun it to the finish?

Yeah our truck is diffenitely setup for mud draging, and that was a bog. The axles were buttoming out. It would have been a lot better to have the same size tires all around too, and bigger ones at that. Nobody made it through though, we made it the furthest. That dip was made from trucks getting stuck and just sitting there digging them selves in further. I myself don't race it so I wouldnt know about letting off for the dip.
But when you have 900 horsepower and are going for first place I think it would be a little hard to let off and not gun it all the way through. And my dads known for never letting off the gas, no matter how rough the track may be. Everybody knows him for that.

I see. That's really impressive that he went the furthest, despite not having the freshest course after the others bogged out and dug in.

log never hit the pits at anything but WFO(wide fukin open ) for the really dumb ones or the GDI's (god damn idiots)
that looks like a lot of fun hammer. reminds me of my younger days i had a 74 bronco 36's 4inch lift wheel wells were choped and flared no top and half and door cut outs had a nice 351w in it with 456 gears we played in the mud till the pits ran dry
