This was brought to my attention yesterday so I'll try to address it. I use Windows 7 and with that I have IE9, but, I use Firefox as my browser and I rarely ever use IE9, so this was the first I heard of it.
I was told when a person goes to my main website page "http://mrnormshgw.net/" people were getting re-directed to another site called SPEED TV or something, some were concerned that I may have been hacked, I wasn't.
What the deal is, I use an old version of an HTML editor (web page maker) that's about 5 or 6 years old, so Win7 features are not supported in there, the result is that some code on my page is read the wrong way in IE9 so it gets re-directed.
I will try and explain this so that your IE9 will see my page cose ok and not do that in the future, bare with me, I'll try and work it right, here goes.
1 - Open your browser IE9 and click on the TOOLS pull-down menu...
2 - Go to the COMPATIBILITY VIEW SETTINGS and open it:
3 - Type (or paste) the web site URL (http://mrnormshgw.net/) into the box under "Add This Website:" as shown and click ADD.
4 - The website should show up like you see below, added to the Compatibility View box, I also put a CHECK in the middle box below that so do that if it's not there already.
5 - If you have the web site bookmarked go there, or you can type "mrnormshgw" into your search engine, in either case, go to website and you should now stay on there without being re-directed, again, I did test this with my Win 7 and IE9 browser and it works ok now, I was getting the re-direct too before I did this, now it works. Let us know if this works for you. I have the tracks links and a bunch of other items on this page so I want it to work.
I see if I can get a new HTML editor but the dang thing costs around $400 or so and I'm not sure I can squeeze that out of Mama.. ;D
LET US KNOW, leave a comment if it worked and if it didn't tell me what happened.
