March 1st is guaranteed date, but they are trying to get it out during speedweeks. I preordered it 1/1. I'll let ya know when it ships. ;D

Actually they plan on shipping in early Feb. Trouble is, their using the same file system as rFactor so that means I may not be involved.
I can do the tracks wrecker style but you you have to have that exact track I did the mods too. It's not near as user friendly as NR2003 so that means NO MODS OR NEW TRACKS unless they come from the developer.
I'm sitting this one out till I see what the bottom line will be. I've paid for to many games that just haven't worked for us.

It's still set to ship on March 1st. I pre-ordered so I'll let you know how it is. Even if you had to have the same track you modded, so what, just post it on your track page and announce in server where to get it. Seems NR2003 racers are dying off, hard to find a decent race anymore so new blood and a new game is always welcome. If it fails I'll just toss it with my rFactor and GTR cd

Mine should be here today!!!! You're getting played like a fiddle. The forums are flooded with The Sim Factory's lies and BS about shipping date, and they're closing threads to prevent negative discussion.
I'm not saying you have been scammed out of your pre-order money and that you will never receive a sim. It's just that I wouldn't hold my breath for delivery today. I've watched the whole development process from the sidelines and in my opinion, these guys have been snakes in the grass when it comes to customer relations, from simple questions to feature wishes to development status reports to delivery promises.

It didn't come but I'm sure it will be here by Friday or monday. I am at the forums, I know about it. If it is a good SIM then it was worth the wait. No rush, I can wait a few more days. One dudes review... forum.racesimcentral.com/showthread.php?t=312237

So far for me, it has it's problems. Kept crashing to desktop, then wouldn't load. Reinstalled. My machine should meet min specs, with a X800 PRO GPU. 256MB
It def feels like rfactor, but a little better. It's going to be tough because I am so used to NR2003. I have not tested online yet but I see quite a few servers, such as OPEN and the like. I need to play more before I judge it a coaster. Drafting and bump drafting seems a bit weird... again, comparing it to NR2003.
It's a handfull, I'll tell ya that. More later when I put more time in it. Going to try an online race...

There's a lot of activity all over the different sim racing forums about it. Looks like the only ones really saying it's great are the ones somehow involved in the company or sim. See some comments from the Rubbins-Racin forums below: RuRa FORUMS HEREYou can pick what thread you want . For the most part, IT AIN'T PRETTY! Seems it only took 9 months to put this thing out (a good sim will take 16 to 36 months) which is the time it takes to put out a good mod. They promised all the tracks would be made specifically for ARCA but their actually using rFactor tracks. They promised the code had nothing to do with rFactor and was all new for this game but have since admitted they did buy rFactor code to use . The game is BUGGY and the list of bugs grows by the hour, for those that actually got it running. The Sim-Factory is deleting any negitive posts in their forums and banning the poster. The steering cfg settings are getting lost in the middle of races so people are pulling Steve Parks moves because all their steering control is gone in a split second. This thing hasn't been out but 24 hours and some are saying EA is better. Like I said, for the most part the only good being said is by the folks involved in the game. Now, ON THE OTHER HAND. for those that bought the game, we all know nothing comes out that dont have a few bugs. If you bought the game wait 6 months or so and see how it pans out. For those that didn't jump on the band wagon, don't buy the game, give it a few months and see what happens. It may pan out to be ok BUT, from the feedback I'm reading and getting, it's never gonna be more then just an ok mod. NR2003 has nothing to worry about. At this point time will be the best judge.

Get that Crazy German Kid video and have the theme set to ARCA this time.

Yes, it sure has some bugs alright. I will just play around with it here and there until they get it sorted out, if ever. Worse comes to worse I get drunk and go online and wreck fools I'll get my money's worth somehow.

After a 3rd install it works. Still a little buggy but I still will not judge it a coaster before their 1st patch comes out. If anything it will bring more online racers to our world. I'm sure with a good FIXED setup there are some fun races to be had. I look forward to a packed field at Daytona/Dega, being the plate monkey I am. Lets give it a chance It's an option, and options are good. Unlike iRacing which i am hearing about and their monthly charges....

My wheel will not work properly!? Hit gas and its full on . same with brake and turns?! I can't even get out of the garage! Did you map the axis? control setup works fine. Try using the G25 or DFP setup and tweak from there.
